Originating from Dublin, Graeme spent his childhood singing, dancing, and acting. He worked as an electrical engineer for many years before decided to commit to acting full time and trained with Momentum Acting Studio in the Meisner Technique. Graeme was cast as the lead male in 'Will', a feature film by Frank Kelly and his role in The Cyclops got great reviews from theatre critics
