Castannettenow has been working over the last 18 months with a company called VBC. Based in Mayo, the business has been developing hologram characters to promote corporate clients. This week, it has been successful in winning a contract with Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries. They selected VBC to produce a hologram character who will provide on-board information for their passengers. I’m delighted to say we have been involved from the beginning, and Janine Hardy has been working on this with me. Born in Scotland and living in Dublin, Janine was the person selected by the Scottish Islanders who voted her the character they would like to see on their ferries. Well done to VBC and Janine and I’m thrilled that all the hard work has paid off.

Our photo tonight shows Harris McNamara being briefed for his role as a Vodafone Presenter at ’Body and Soul Festival’ last Sunday. Harris had great fun and the feedback was fantastic -Well Done Harris! (Ryan Tubridy had better watch out)…
