Dear Arabella’ is a new play by Marie Jones (of Stones In His Pockets fame) directed by Sara Watson. It's been staged in Monaghan on 12th and 13th May with all proceeds going to Pieta House and Palliative Care in the area. Break a leg to cast and crew especially to our own lovely Joanne Brennan.

Finally... keep an eye out for 'Topographia Hibernica' (trilogy) - Director Liza Bolton which starts on RTE May 7th ep 1 with ep 2 is in post-production along with ep 3. Due for release in Summer. From the stills I’ve seen during the making of this - it's going to be amazing and it stars our own Philip Coffey Biog for Top Hib : Gerald of Wales is the first Norman traveller in Ireland. He recounts the miracles, wonders and evils of an island yet to be discovered and ultimately conquered through fantastic, bizarre sometimes outrageous stories. In this first episode, Giraldus and his novice Bartholomeus arrive in Ireland. They have their first encounter with the native people. A clash of language, culture and religion leads to communication issues and ...It does not end well. This is the first of 9 fantastic, bizarre and compelling stories from Topographia Hibernica (Giraldus Cambrensis 1188) retold in Latin and Norman French. Filmed on location in Ireland. This is a stylised piece of work. The elegant camera work, skilful blocking and 'nowhere to hide' element of a continuous take performance for the cast, results in a piece of work that is unique and powerful. Genre: Satire, History, Fantasy, Fiction.
